Calling all witches, ghosts and vampires, South Street is the place to go to get into the spooky spirit!
The South Street Motherhouse area (SSHD) is hosting several events throughout October to celebrate Halloween and the fall season.
On Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., the SSHD organizes its annual family Halloween pumpkin festival.
Enjoy a day filled with fall festivities for the whole family, including free pumpkin decorating, hay wagon rides, a costume contest, sleight of hand at local businesses, circus, face paint, spooky snacks, bubbling beers and more.
It will start at 5th and South Streets and end with a costume contest at Headhouse Plaza at 2nd and Lombard, with $1,000 in prizes!
Attendees of this event will also have exclusive access to Halloween night discounts at nearby bars and restaurants.
The South Street Headhouse District also hosts Meet me on South Street every Thursday with food and drink specials at local bars and restaurants.
On October 27, 2022, the weekly theme will be Spooky & Witchy, where customers can shop local businesses for all their Halloween needs.
