Hello, Bronco country!
The impact of Russell Wilson’s trade was immediate.
If there are still a few months before we see him in the win/loss column of the Denver Broncos, we already see him in other facets.
In what Wilson is doing in the community (most important), the number of prime time games this season and now jersey sales.
The NFL Shop announced this week that Wilson has the best-selling jersey of 2022. Considering what’s happened over the past six years in Broncos Country, that’s pretty incredible.
It still doesn’t seem real that the Broncos finally have their quarterback. And not just a QB, an elite, franchise QB. There is undoubtedly skepticism and a “wait-and-see” approach. Some really want to see the team win games before they reach 11.
But for the first time in six years, Denver fans have reason to get excited again.
And it shows.
