Real Housewives Of New Jersey’s Traci Johnson Opens Up About Drama Involving Teresa Giudice’s Fiance

Besides this shocking revelation of infidelity, the hottest topic of season 12 of the The Real Housewives of New Jersey concerns Teresa Giudice’s boyfriend, Louie Ruelas, to whom she has since officially become engaged. A scandalous video of the 46-year-old businessman appeared online just as filming took place. In it, Ruelas is supposedly bare-bottomed at a “men’s retreat”, begging forgiveness from a woman he allegedly abused. The cast obviously had a lot of questions about the situation, including new “series friend” Traci Johnson and her husband, Tiki Barber. Recently, Johnson opened up more about the ensuing drama with Giudice over their curiosity.

In a recent episode of the reality series, Teresa Giudice made it exponentially clear to her freshman co-star that she should mind her own business. The long date The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum specifically took issue with the fact that Traci Johnson questioned Louie Ruelas’ past and apparently sent her husband to find out more during the guys’ night. But obviously, Johnson is not on the defensive as of this writing. Talk to entertainment tonightshe says:

I still completely disagree with Teresa. You can’t be mad at me for something my husband said. I’m not Tiki’s keeper. I never told him what to do – nor did he tell me what to do. I’m 100% sure he’s heard me and all the other girls talking about those Louie videos and the allegations that have come up in the past. I think he was just like, well, I really wonder what’s going on? If I’m going to sit here and break bread with somebody, eat with somebody, and hang out with somebody, I want to know what the fuss is about and I won’t let these allegations linger in anyone’s head the world. I want to hear what you have to say. So her being annoyed at me for something my husband did is ridiculous, but pretty typical of Teresa.

“Typical” Teresa Giudice would be how the reality star can go HAM for a romantic partner — no matter the cost, no matter the logic. She went to federal prison for a year actually for her ex-husband Joe Giudice (and still has friends from that particular stint) after years of squelching rumors of infidelity and gossiping about her questionable character. And in season 12 of NHNJ, she defends Louie Ruelas left and right, including on allegations that he is just with her to be on television. All in all, this could potentially spell the end of any friendship with co-star Margaret Josephs and the newcomer.

As for New Jersey‘s Traci Johnson, however, she takes for granted that everyone and their mothers (and husbands) want to know the truth about her co-star’s intention. In fact, Johnson thought that when her husband Tiki went hunting like he did, it was the best opportunity for the businessman to get ahead. She admitted on the outlet:

I asked him. I was asking Joe Gorga. I was asking everyone, what’s with these videos? They are weird. What about these allegations that keep coming up on Instagram from these different outlets? I think Tiki finally said, well, stop asking me, stop asking Joe. Ask the source. I think she should honestly be glad Louie got the chance to tell her side of the story.

Louie Ruelas’ version of the story – as we just learned about the The Real Housewives of New Jersey – is that the video in question was only a retreat to improve. He denied any violence with exes. He also implied that the accusations being made came from jaded women seeking TV notoriety, not the other way around.

I think many Bravo alums would agree that you don’t criticize Teresa Giudice’s world willy-nilly. And just as Jackie Goldschneider found out the hard way in her fight with Giudice over a coke analogy last year, Traci Johnson apparently learns the aforementioned point the hard way. Stay tuned for how the drama continues to unfold, with new The Real Housewives of New Jersey episodes air on Bravo, Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST, according to our 2022 TV schedule.
