(OTCQX:EVTV, Financial), a provider of new, purpose-built, zero-emission electric vehicles (the “Company”), today announced that the New Jersey Zero Emissions Incentive Program (“NJ ZIP or the “Program”) has awarded a a total value of $796,000 for the purchase of five Class 4 C5000 logistics cutaway vans and three Class 4 trucks. purchase for the purchase of 40 vehicles with a total value of $3,545,000.

NJ ZIP is a $15 million good driver program that helps businesses and institutions purchase new zero-emission vehicles operating in the Greater Newark and Greater Camden areas by providing up to $100,000 towards the purchase battery electric vehicles. The program intends to fund 100 to 300 vouchers worth $25,000 to $100,000 for companies and institutional organizations looking to take their fleets to zero emissions. Bonuses are available for small businesses and businesses owned by minorities, women and veterans. NJ ZIP is funded from proceeds allocated to the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (“NJEDA”) by the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (“RGGI”) for the purpose of reducing harmful emissions, especially in communities disproportionately impacted by transportation emissions, and create opportunity economies within the state.
